Putrajaya, 11 June 2022– Tech Up Sdn Bhd today signed a Memorandum Of Collaboration “(MoC”) with Malaysia Industry Forward Association (MIFA) to work together in exploring potential market reach in technology-based education and training segments.
This MoC is also aimed at closing the fundamental gap in term of technical & management skillset in the digital workforce, the address the future talent gap and to accelerate digital education transformation in Malaysia. There is a need to increase participation among the technology-based industry players to help the Government in promoting Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (S.T.E.M) education and training in Malaysia.
Under MoC, both parties will share resources in attracting and developing future talent for the digital and emerging technology workforce ecosystem, in particular those who have interest and are already in the industry revolution 4.0 (IR 4.0) workforce, to close the skill gap by upskilling and re-skilling them with the latest technological updates available.
As one of the prominent provider for S.T.E.M based education and training solutions, Tech Up Sdn Bhd is every ready to deliver its latest applied robotics learning through gamified simulation robotics software “GoTechUp” a homegrown learning software, to bridge the digital twin ecosystem. Being the sole market distributor for Artec Co Ltd (Japan) Tech Up is able to address the fundamental gap of the future workforce for the Malaysian consumer-based market.
“The technology in itself is important but what is more important is the people behind the technology and the user of the technology. We need to increase the speed of reskilling the existing workforce while addressing the expanding gap of the future workforce. We willl have more jobs but we will also lose some jobs. The right questing to ask is “what can we do to support those that are losing jobs”. Innovation will only start when we have taken the first step to normalize digital skills. This have already been identified in National Industry 4.0 Policy Framework as one of the enabler. People is critically developing, upgrading and retaining the required talent and skills are at the centre of the new national policy” added Ms Ainaa Rosli, CEO of Tech Up Group.
The signing ceremony took place at the The Everly Putrajaya Hotel with special presence of YBhg Dato’ Ts Dr Amirudin Abdul Wahab, CEO, Cybersecurity Malaysia, on his capacity as the special advisor of MIFA to grace and witness the event, and Ts Muhammad Didi Hendra Shah, MIFA President representing MIFA while Ms Ainaa Rosli CEO Tech Up Sdn Bhd representing Tech Up Group.
